Food Glorious Food

One of my favorite restaurants in Tallahassee is Food Glorious Food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere where patrons can eat inside or out and the service is always friendly. Food Glorious Food is open for lunch and dinner and serves a wide selection of cold or hot entrees.

Tallahassee Churches

Tallahassee is steep in religous tradition. Located only 1 mile east of the new Capital Building in Tallahassee is the site of of the Apalachee town of Anhaica. In the 16th century, this city is believe to have been the first place in North America to celebrate Christmas while occupied by Hernando de Soto and his expedition. Today, not only is Tallahassee filled with Christian churches, but places to worship for every religion can be found.

The picture above is of First Baptist Church of Tallahassee, located on West College Avenue.

Downtown Tallahassee

Filled with law offices, high end cafes, and lobbing offices, downtown Tallahassee is one of the few capital cities where you can walk to the capital building from downtown. The large building in the back is the new capital building, which is next to the old capital buildings that were preserved.
